The Ards International Guitar Festival is back with a bang in April 2016 with a fresh new programme of guitar inspired gigs, free fringe events, guitar clinics with industry professionals and an exhibition celebrating the 18th Festival in 2014.
Expect a jam packed line-up of flamenco, blues, folks, rock, bluegrass and classical for guitar aficiandos across the borough!

Highlights of this year’s festival include an insight into the history of the Blues with Ronnie Greer, an energetic and passionate performance by the fabulous Grainne Duffy at the Ivy Bar, Percussive acoustic Virtuosos Antoine Defour and Gary Lutton and the return of the Flamenco Fiesta, back by poular demand with some of Cordoba’s finest flamenco guitarists in Newtownards for one night only!
